Good health is something that all people want but not able to maintain it. Health is considered the over-all wellbeing that your body and mind can achieve. Happiness and peace are presented in a healthy lifestyle. The term healthy lifestyle may sound difficult until you find it by yourself.

A healthy lifestyle surely gives an excellent impact on your life. Keeping a healthy lifestyle can be challenging, especially if you are living in an environment of junk foods, crash foods, and no physical activities. It can be both threatening and unfavourable. To achieve good mental and physical health, you need to follow a healthy lifestyle and everyday activities that contribute to your physical and mental health.

The popular misconception in choosing a healthy lifestyle is that it is only achieved to lose weight or to get some abs. But it is much more than that, maintaining a healthy lifestyle can do more than simply reducing your body fat. A healthy lifestyle can enhance your overall physical and mental health. The following are some tips that can help you to achieve a healthy lifestyle and maintain physical and mental wellbeing.

1. Restrict Caffeine Intake: This is the very first thing that you need to take into account if you are trying to follow a healthy lifestyle. Well, caffeine is not as much bad for health as it sounds, but it makes sense to take it at the right time and in the right amount. If you are taking caffeine in a herbal or infusion form, then you will receive good results. The blend of some healthy herbs like basil, ginger, lemon with caffeine is a good way of caffeine intake. Also, if you are taking it at the right time which is between 4 to 5 PM evening, it will be good, but it is wrong if you are taking it with empty stomach early in the morning, between breakfast and lunch, and after the dinner. However, if you are a coffee lover, then black coffee is a good choice but make sure you choose the right time for it so that it will not disturb your body. 

2. Practicing Breathing Exercises: The next thing you need to do is practicing breathing exercises. Do you know what is breathing? Usually, most people don’t make any effort to understand their body properly. Practicing inhales and exhales properly and regularly helps to transfer nutrition value to the organs. Good breathing is the way to achieve good, healthy and glowing skin. If you don’t have much time for it, you can simply practice it for 5 min daily. It is more beneficial if you practice it with yoga and meditation.           

3. Cold Shower: In today’s lifestyle, most people prefer a hot bath which is actually not a good thing if you are concerning your health. The cold water never makes your skin dull and dry and further, it enhances the blood circulation in your body. Along with that, if you have any skin issue like blackhead, then the cold bath is the best way to prevent those issues. Not too much cold water, you can simply use room temperature water to take a shower. 

4. Alkaline Rich Diet: Along with the above things, a healthy diet is the most important. These days many people choose a diet for weight loss without knowing their body and the outcomes. An alkaline-rich diet is raw food diet that includes fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts. If you want to have good glowing skin, you must include fresh vegetable juice along with your fruits, nuts and seeds. Before choosing any healthy diet plan, you must consult with a professional dietitian.  

5. Positive Attitude: Though, maintaining a positive attitude is not that simple. It is simple to say that you must have a positive attitude and keep your mind calm but it could be very difficult in human nature. So, what you can do to achieve a positive attitude easily is simply reduce the duration of negativity. When you starting thinking positively you can easily maintain a positive attitude. Try to avoid negative thoughts and environment as much as possible. 

Conclusion: Motivation is possibly the most obvious yet significant factor for reaching a purpose. Having a healthy way of living is not a one-day process. It requires preparation, hard work, and dedication to be able to obtain one. When you want to improve your lifestyle, you must be committed, no matter how unfavourable it can be. No change is easy and welcoming at first, so you must establish your purposes precisely and always concentrate on your progress.
