To promote Swiss Food and also to promote Nutrition Valley, Nestlé has collaborated with three different organizations. This was a global initiative taken by the company in order to enhance innovation while taking into account food and nutrition. This multiple stakeholder company shall be launch in the upcoming year. And, the good news is Nestlé further aims to invite new talent, investments, and start-ups into this initiative.
To bring up the initiative the owner of Smarties, Nespresso, and KitKat, Nestlé has joined hands with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), the Swiss Hospitality Management School in Lausanne (EHL Group), and the Swiss Canton of Vaud.
Nestlé believes that Switzerland is the home to only one of its kind ecosystem when it comes to nutrition and food as its agricultural tradition is deeply rooted. Also, Switzerland houses most of the leading companies in the world and has various scientific institutions. Also, there are multiple start-ups in the areas of nutrition, food, robotics, and life sciences.
The Swiss Food and Nutrition Valley plans on strengthening the existing innovative ecosystem further and also attract start-ups, investment, and talent to the field and address all the humongous challenges of food and nutrition that are to come up in the future.
