In recent news, the Massachusetts Board of Medicine Registration took disciplinary actions to revoke the medical practice licenses owned by two doctors namely Joshua D. Baron and Randall S. Bock. Both the doctors were M.D. by designation.
As per the board, the doctors’ medical licenses were suspended after Bock happened to post some video recordings of 27 of his patients on his personally owned YouTube channel with no permissions obtained from the patients to do the same. As per the news release by the Medicine Registration Board, Dr. Bock, who is a general medicine practitioner, initially obtained his license for practice of medicine in the year 1984 in Massachusetts during the month of February.
Additionally, the board revoked the license owned by Dr Joshua Baron in an entirely different instance where he was found to have pleaded guilty of 8 various counts of Controlled Substance Distribution. He plead his case at the United States District Court located in the Northern Illinois District. Upon successful hearing of both the cases, the doctors were revoked of their medical licenses. Additionally, Baron had been sentenced to a prison time of 70 months followed by a supervised release of 120 months.
