How to Use Aloe Vera for Hairs

Different Ways of Using Aloe Vera at home:

Aloe Vera with Castor Oil:

As we all know, castor oil is a home remedy for getting long hair naturally. Mixing Aloe Vera with castor oil can work wonders on your hair.


Mix one cup of fresh Aloe Vera gel with two tablespoons of castor oil along with two tablespoons of fenugreek powder. Apply it on your hair, more on the scalp and tips. Cover your hair with a shower cap and go to sleep. Wake up in the morning and wash it off with shampoo and water. You will notice changes with frequent applications.

The Honey and Coconut Magic:

Honey and coconut together are known for their conditioning properties.


You need to mix 5 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel, 3 tbsp of coconut oil and 2 tbsp of honey. Mix it well and apply it well on your scalp. Massage the mixture and keep it for 25 minutes or so. Wash it off with water and shampoo. Using this once a week will fetch you smooth and long hair.

Aloe Vera with the Egg Yolk does it All:

Eggs are used in almost all hair packs. The fat in egg moisturizes your hair from within. The combination of olive oil and Aloe Vera enhances hair growth.


You need to mix 4 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel, 3 tbsp of olive oil and one egg yolk. Apply and massage it on your hair, keep it for twenty-five minutes and wash your hair with mild shampoo. Use a good conditioner to add to the shine. For getting long and beautiful hair, once a week is enough

Onion Juice and Aloe Vera:

Onions are known to repair dormant follicles and enhance hair growth. Aloe Vera along with onion can get you long and voluminous hair. Use it once in a week, and you will be happy with the transformation your hair undergoes.


All you will require to do is chop 3 or 4 onions and make a puree to get one cup of onion juice. Mix around 1 tbsp Aloe Vera gel to it. Apply this on your scalp. Massage it well on the roots and the tips. Keep it for an hour and wash it off with shampoo and water.

Freshen it up with Some Lemon Juice:

Lemon is rich in vitamin c. This consists of something called collagen. Collagen boosts hair growth in your body. It also maintains the pH levels in your scalp. Using lemon juice and Aloe Vera once in a week should be great for your hair.


Mix 2 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel to 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Apply the smooth mixture on your scalp and hair tips. Leave the mix for 20 minutes and wash it with a mild shampoo. You get long and conditioned hair with regular use.

Replace Your Shampoo with Baking Soda:

Confused? Yes, you can replace your shampoo with a particular mixture once in a week to get longer and healthier hair.


Mix 4 tbsp of Aloe Vera gel, 2 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of coconut milk. Rinse your hair and apply it on. After massaging, wash your hair off. Now, add one tbsp. of water to baking soda and scrub it on your scalp. After you have thoroughly scrubbed your hair, wash it off with cool water.

Cayenne Pepper and Aloe Vera:

Adopt the spicy way of re-growing your hair. Many of you must not be aware of the hair growth enhancement qualities of Cayenne Pepper. It helps in regrowth of hair.


Add 1 tbsp of Cayenne pepper powder to a ½ cup of Aloe Vera gel. Mix it well and keep for 10 minutes. Wash the hair with using a mild shampoo and conditioner. Use it once in a week and get long and healthy hair.

Got Some Green Tea at Home?

Again a substitute for shampoo, a mixture of Aloe Vera and Green Tea not only stimulates hair growth but also soothes your scalp tissues. It reduces dandruff and works as an anti-oxidant.


Use ½ cup of Aloe Vera gel and ½ cup of freshly brewed green tea. Blend both of them well. Make sure you have a smooth and even mixture. Apply it on your hair uniformly and leave it for 10 minutes. Was it off with cool water and condition your hair. Use it once a week to free your hair from all unwanted damage causing radicals.
