Clean the Wound

Optimal healing is obtained only if proper cleaning of a wound is done. This can be done by cleaning the wounds by rinsing with running water. Also, you can use cold water to wash the wounded area for a period of 10 to 15 minutes. If filtered water is not available, then you can use distilled or boiled water. This can indeed help to remove a lot of dirt, bacteria, and debris as well as it will help you to reduce the weight. Furthermore, you can pat dry the area with a towel and then further cover it using a bandage or sterile dressing.

Use Coconut Oil

Furthermore, it can quickly heal the wounds as it has a lot of healing properties such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and moisturizing properties. Application of coconut oil is quite easy, and you just need to apply virgin coconut in the wounded area and put a bandage so that the moisture is sealed. Furthermore, you can again use the coconut oil and then change the bandage for 2-3 times. You can follow the steps for few days to get a valid result.


The Neem is widely known to heal the wound and also helps to maintain the elasticity of the skin as well as build collagen. Also, it has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The application of Neem is effortless, and all you have to do is mix one tablespoon of Neem leaves juice and perhaps turmeric powder consisting of 1 tablespoon. You can apply the above paste on the wound and leave it for few hours. Finally, rinse it using the warm water and then reapply it and repeat for several days. Alternatively, you can use turmeric, Chebulic myrobalan and Neem leaves together alongside little lime juice. Apply this mixture to the wound and let it dry. You can use this application 2-3 times a day.


Turmeric is widely known as an antibiotic and the natural antiseptic agent that can be used to heal wounds and prevent any sought of infection. According to the study, it is known that turmeric has curcumin present in it which helps to improve the healing of wounds by modulating the collagen and further decrease the oxygen species. If in any case, bleeding occurs, then you can stop it by applying turmeric over it. Alternatively, to promote optimal healing, mix ½ teaspoon of turmeric in ½ teaspoon of linseed oil to form a paste that can be efficiently applied to the wound. Use this mixture for 2-3 times in a day, and you would feel that your wound is healing day by day. Furthermore, it will prevent any sought of infection, and it will help you to get rid of the pain.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a natural substance that has been used since ages to heal the wounds. Aloe Vera has a lot of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and soothing properties. Furthermore, it is rich in phytochemicals, which can quickly ease the pain, reduce the inflammation and further promote the healing process. Application of Aloe Vera is quite easy, and all you have to do is cut the Aloe Vera leaf and extract the gel in it. Apply this gel on the wound and allow it to dry. Clean the area with the warm water and let it pat dry. Repeat it 4-5 times a day until the wound is completely healed.


Garlic as well has been used for a long time to heal the wounds as it is rich in antimicrobial properties as well as antibiotic properties. Furthermore, it can boost the immunity so that infection is prevented.In case, you want to apply garlic on the wound, then first clean it with cold water and then use few crushed garlic gloves over it. You will experience relief in the pain and healing of the wound will take place very quickly. Alternatively, you can crush the ginger to form a paste, and you can use it on a sterile gauze. Further, put the gauze on the wound and wrap a bandage around the wound. Leave this for 20 minutes and then wash it using warm. Repeat these steps two times a day to completely heal the wound.

Calendula is a kind of herb which can be used to heal wounds. Calendula has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties associated with it which can reduce the pain and inflammation of the wound.  You can crush few Calendula flowers and then extract the juice from the same. Apply this juice on the wound for 2-3 times in a day. Alternatively, you can buy Calendula salves from the food stores and apply it on the wound.

Consume Raw Potato

Potato poultice can be used to heal the wounds as it helps to moisturize the wound and encourage the quick healing process. The application of potato poultice is quite easy, and all you have to do is grate 1-2 potatoes and spread it on a clean cloth. After this, place this in the wounded area. Leave this for 4-5 hours and then further remove it and then clean the area of the wound with warm water. You can also apply a fresh potato poultice and continue further until it is not healed.

Use Plantain


Like other natural substances that have been mentioned above, Plantin too has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties associated with it. This can very well support the healing process and reduce itching as well as pain that might occur.Use few leaves of Plantin and convert it into a paste.Further, apply this paste on the wound.Allow the application to dry and then further rinse it using warm water. Follow the same procedure 4-5 times until the healing is not recovered.
