You can create a mixture of 1/3 cup of powdered sugar alongside 2/3 cup of boric acid to make bait for carpenter bees. In addition, you can make homemade bait using maple syrup, mortar, kerosene oil, cinnamon and pestle to drive these insects away. Make sure to wear protective equipment’s such as protection gloves and covering the face when you use these baits so that you can reduce the chances of infection.
