Suffering from loose motions, here are few effective home remedies to your rescue. Loose motions are caused due to bacterial infection in the intestine which causes your motions to be loose and watery. So many household items which contain antibacterial and anti-fungal properties help in loose motions.

Also, people suffer from stomach cramps and pain due to excessive bowel movements. Loose motion is hazardous for young infants who reach a dangerous condition due to losing too much body fluids. So, these home remedies come handy to prevent them from reaching the state.

At some times, loose motions are caused due to certain chronic disease, so if the situation prevails without any improvement for more than two days, you must seek professional advice.

Mustard seeds: Take a teaspoon full of mustard seeds and swallow them with water. Mustard helps in stabilizing the digestive system since it contains necessary anti-oxidants and fatty acids.

Carom seeds: Due to its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, it is considered best remedy to help any stomach disorder. Take a teaspoonful of carom seed’s powder with warm water to relieve you from loose motions.

Asafetida: This relieves you especially from those stomach cramps that caused due to excessive bowel movements. Take a pinch of it with warm water, and it will help you ease from all the gasses which are causing pain in your stomach.

Lemonade: Its acidic nature and rich in vitamin C helps you get relieved from stomach disorders. It’s rich in antioxidants and relieves stomach muscles from all the action you are experiencing during loose motions.

Apple Cider Vinegar: It has both antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which treat your intestines and help you relieve during loose motions. Take a spoonful of it mixed with water 3-4 times a day.’

Pomegranate: Keep dried pomegranate seeds and boil them with a cup of water. Reduce the water to half and take this mixture 3-4 times a day to help you with your digestive system disorders. Also, taking pomegranate juice and have fruit in itself helps you relive from loose motions.

Fenugreek Seeds: Again fenugreek seeds have anti-fungal and antibacterial effects. Grind the seeds and take a spoonful of powder with warm water early in the morning for 2-3 days regularly for complete relief.

Honey: Honey have a soothing effect on your bladder and helps to cure the infection. Famously called honey lemon juice can be taken early in the morning to help cure any stomach disorders and otherwise as well to keep it healthy always.

Buttermilk: Although we should remain away from all milk products during loose motions as our intestines are not healthy enough to help digest the milk products but yogurt and buttermilk are recommended. It’s due to the soothing effect it has on stomach muscle which assists them to relieve from all the cramps and pain it goes through due to excessive bowel movements.

Sago: Sago again helps in improving the digestive system. Soak sago in water overnight and take it in the morning with some warm water and it will retain your digestive system for proper functioning.

Mint: Mint is again said to have a cooling effect on stomach muscles to help them relieve from cramps which occur during the loose motions due to excessive bowel movements.

Bael Leaf Powder: Crush dried bael leaves and take the powder with warm water 3-4 times a day. With it anti-inflammatory properties, it is said to be a cure for stomach disorders.

Table Salt: Yes, our standard table salt is also a very effective cure to rescue us from dehydration that happens during the loose motions. Loose motion tends us to lose water with many vital nutrients from our body making us a week and sick. Take a pinch of salt with some sugar mixed well in a glass of water, and it will relieve you from that knee wrecking sickness and weakness that is caused by the loose motions.
