All of us aware about this spice which is frequently used in our daily food. Are we conscious of the benefits of Turmeric? Since the era of Vedas, it is used as an ailment for many diseases. Turmeric is used in powder form and can be used topically and orally. Turmeric is an underground rhizome, yellowish in color.

Role in Digestion-Turmeric also has appetizer property. It works as astringent also. It relieves the blowing the gas into the stomach and relieves spasm.
