Acne is a kind of skin disease often caused by following unhealthy skin regime. Leave it for half an hour to dry completely, and they wet it a little to scrub your skin to get rid of blackheads gently. Wash off with Luke warm water and again rub with a slightly coarse towel. Repeat this twice a week until you have completely got rid of blackheads.
Another way it to mix a few drops of jojoba oil and tomato pulp into tea tree oil and apply it on affected area. Leave it for twenty minutes. Tomato pulp being rich in antioxidants helps get rid of blackhead-causing bacteria with tea tree oil.
You can add tea tree oil to your moisturizer or night cream and let it work its way to help you get you rid of blackheads while you are sleeping.
Mix few drops of tea tree oil to sugar and honey and rub it over the affected area as a scrub. Use it daily in the night until you get rid of blackheads completely.
Mix a few drops of tea tree oil in your bathing water to help you cleanse your body from getting any more acne.

Tea tree oil contains terpinen-4-ol which is antimicrobial in nature and hence when applied to affected area destroys the bacteria which causes acne. In case your skin is dry, you can mix the tea tree oil with some aloe Vera gel to avoid any harshness of tea tree oil affecting your skin. It should always be diluted before using on your skin. Just mix a few drops of tea tree oil with two teaspoons of aloe Vera gel and apply on affected area. Leave it overnight and rinse it with water in the morning. Repeat it daily until you have completely treated acne.

There are many other types of acne like pustules, nodules, and cysts. In these cases, you must seek a skin specialist because they can be caused due to major problems going on beneath your skin and may require some oral medication in addition to the tree based ointments.
